I have been crocheting for years (thanks to my Mother and Grandmothers) but have just begun to sell my work. I began my crocheting hobby about twenty years ago when I made my first afghan. It was rainbow-colored, a zigzag pattern - for my son, Alex. He still treasures that afghan and I know some day his children will as well! As he and his younger brother, Nathan began to grow, I set aside my crochet hook to take care of them.

I started crocheting again when the Pittsburgh Steelers were making their playoff run in 2008. I realized my family did not have nearly enough black and gold clothing to show our support! So, I began making scarves. I realized that as long as I crocheted during the Steelers games, we would win! So, through the Playoffs and Super Bowl I crocheted! But once the games were over and the National Champions determined (thanks to my crocheting) - I did not want to stop. So, I kept going with local school colors, hoping to maybe attend some craft fairs with my scarves of many colors. This morphed into hats. The hats just were not cool enough so, I found a pattern for an earflap hat - now that was more like it! At my first out-door tent sale, a little boy asked for a Mohawk hat and I began making them as well - the rest is history!

Along the way, I created purses for my wonderful nieces, which also led to me making bags. I learned how to make nice warm Santa hats too - oh and gloves (with or without fingers). As a diversion, I began making peek-a-boo beach shirts. Now, I am branching out to create some sock monkey hats as well as cartoon character hats for adults and children alike. I keep gathering patterns of all the things I would love to make, but alas there are only so many hours in the day! So please do keep visiting the website as I will be adding new products on a regular basis.

If you have an idea of something you might like but do not see it, please request it - I am always up for the challenge! Oh and don't forget - I also make all of these goodies in children's sizes as well as baby afghans and booties

These products are guaranteed to last, never fade, keep you warm, and never unravel! . I do not have any afghans pictured here but you can order a baby afghan in your preferred colors from me as well as matching booties - those are custom orders tailored to fit your needs.

I take an enormous pride in creating my products, and hope that you'll find something in my catalogue that you like. I also can create custom orders if you would like a color scheme or size you cannot find here.

In addition to online ordering through my website, I also spend the summer attending various local festivals. Just look for the tent with the hanging Mohawk hats and there you will find me! I will try to update this site as well as FaceBook to let you know where I will be during the summer months.
